HC Reserves Orders on ZP Chief Election

HYDERABAD: Justice P Naveen Rao of the Hyderabad high Court on Thursday reserved his orders on a petition by E Haribabu, Zilla Parishad chairman of Prakasam district in AP state, seeking to direct the district administration to allow him to function as chairman.  

Hari Babu alleged that the district administration, including the collector, was not allowing him to discharge his duties as chairman despite orders from the Hyderabad High Court and the Supreme Court. Stating that the officials have locked the chamber of the ZP chairman, he urged the court to intervene.
