Express News Service

TIRUPATI: In a bizarre incident, a 26-year-old youth killed his live-in partner and buried her in his house at Nakkalavripalli in Gurramkonda mandal of Chittoor district.

According to Tirupati West CI Anjuyadav, V Narayana Reddy of Nakkalavaripalli and Sabiha (20), daughter of Jilani from the same village and an MBA, were in love with each other. They both started living together in Bangalore and then shifted to MR Palli in Tirupati, around two years ago. Sabiha changed her name to Sandhya and joined as accountant at Vijayabharathi Automotives in the city.

Meanwhile, as Sabiha did not turn up for work since Jan 28, the management of the company started enquiring about her whereabouts. They contacted her mother Jilani, who is residing in the village, over phone. After learning that Sabiha did not visit her home, the company filed a complaint with the Tirupati West police.

During interrogation, Narayana Reddy confessed to have killed Sabiha and buried her in the backyard of their house in Nakkalavaripalli.
