Vignan University students oppose new code of conduct

Students of Vignan University staged a protest at Vadlamudi in Chebrolu mandal for about 2 hours on Friday against formulation of a new code of conduct  by the management.

GUNTUR: Students of Vignan University staged a protest at Vadlamudi in Chebrolu mandal for about 2 hours on Friday against formulation of a new code of conduct  by the management. They blocked Guntur-Tenali road as part of their protest.

The new code made wearing of shoes and traditional dress compulsory. It also laid emphasis on students’ presence in the classroom or on the university campus from 8 am to 3 pm.  The students demanded that the new code of conduct be withdrawn.
