Andhra Budget postponed after sudden death of Nandyal MLA Bhumi Nagi Reddy

VIJAYAWADA: The presentation of budget 2017-18 in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly scheduled for Monday has been postponed after the sudden demise of the Nandyal sitting MLA Bhuma Nagi Reddy, announced AP Assembly speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao.

According to official sources, the ongoing session of AP Legislative Assembly will be held on Tuesday. The Legislative Assembly as well as the Legislative Council, will meet to express their condolences over the death of Bhimi Nagi Reddy and will adjourn the session for the day.

The Business Advisory Committee (BAC) will meet on Tuesday to decide the next date for presenting the budget 2017-18.
