100 pirate CDs of Baahubali seized in Visakhapatnam, six arrested

VISAKHAPATNAM: In flash raids conducted across the city, six persons were arrested and 189 pirated CDs including 100 of the Baahubali- The Conclusion, one CD writer and pen drives were seized on Tuesday.


Acting on a tip-off, Combined Task Force (CTF) ACP Chittibabu and his team raided KVS Video World in Seethammapeta and arrested the owner SV Subba Reddy.

Apart from pirated CDs of Baahubali, 83 discs of movies including Katamarayudu, Sivalinga, Mister, Winner, Cheliya, Om Namo Venkatesaya, Dhruva, Fast & Furious, Rouge and Ghaji films were seized.  


All the seized items were handed over to Dwaraka police station. 
Later in the day, the teams raided  unauthorised download centres at Gajuwaka main road and arrested five persons. The accused were identified as P Satish, K Venkatesh, P Siva Kumar, Md Sabul Pasher and S Ramesh.
