VIJAYAWADA: YSR Congress (YSRC) spokesman Ambati Rambabu has said that Chief Minister N Chnadrababu Naidu has once again revealed his true colours by making efforts to foil the State bandh on April 16.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, Rambabu said the State bandh call given by YSRC, Left parties, Janasena, SCS Sadhana Samithi and various other organisations reflects the mood of the people while Chandrababu Naidu has been making every attempt to dampen the public spirit. He said TDP MPs’ reluctance to resign to their seats shows their insincerity.
Meanwhile, senior YSRC leader Botsa Satyanarayana said the real intent of Chandrababu Naidu’s Delhi visit was not to achieve Special Category Status (SCS) for AP but to push his personal agenda.
“In the garb of seeking support for SCS demand, Naidu had a secret meeting with former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh to expedite the AgriGold deal. The meeting was held in New Delhi on April 3 after 10.00 p.m, which shows the real purpose of Naidu’s visit to the national capital,” he said. He lashed out at TDP leaders for trying to belittle the efforts of YSRC to help AgriGold victims and said the party will continue to fight for justice to them.
