GUNTUR: The Guntur urban police arrested two persons for stealing vehicles and snatching chains from women, at NTR Bus Station here on Friday.

The police recovered six-and-a-half tolas of gold, a motorbike and eight mobile phones from them. Addressing a press conference here on Friday, CCS DSP D Prasad said while the modus operandi of habitual offender, Chukka Gopichand of Nandulapeta in Tenali, is to snatch gold chains from lonely women, his friend, M Ravi Teja of Kondapaturu in Kakumanu mandal, snatches mobile phones from walkers at BR Stadium.
