VIJAYAWADA: Demanding that actor Sivaji, who revealed the alleged conspiracy theory ‘Operation Garuda’, be interrogated in connection with the attack on YSRC chief  YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, State BJP leaders met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on Tuesday. The BJP suspected that the TDP was trying to protect the people involved in the case.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, BJP State vice-president S Vishnu Vardhan Reddy sought to know why the actor was not included in the chargesheet filed in the case. “Operation Garuda is a conspiracy by the TDP. The police should take Sivaji into custody and question him,” he said.

“Two months ago, we complained to the police seeking a probe, but no action has been taken,” he said.
