Soon after Vitality Air, a Canadian firm began selling fresh air in China, they have reportedly set their eyes on the Indian market, Delhi to be precise.
The Canadian startup which was founded last year started bottling fresh air from the Rocky Mountains and has seen big profits in China due to their rising pollution levels.
While Delhi has been struggling in finding ways to address pollution levels via Odd-Even scheme, its citizens might start importing fresh air. According to Hindustan Times report, the company is contemplating to sell their product for Rs 12.50 per breath from this month.
The product comes in 3-litre and 8-litre cans which would cost Rs 1,450 and Rs 2,800 respectively.
“We suck up all the air in Banff, about 150,000 litres every time and it takes about 40 hours… the pollution in India is more than in China, we expect it to be our largest market,” Vitality Air’s founder Moses Lam told the Delhi-based newspaper.
