Woman give birth to baby boy in Delhi police van

According to the police, Aarti was travelling in the Dadar Express with her father and mother-in-law.

NEW DELHI:  A Delhi police van came to the rescue of Aarti who gave birth to baby boy on Sunday in the van while being transported to a hospital.

Aarti was crying for help near Subzi Mandi railway station on Sunday morning, the PCR van of the Delhi Police received a call about the woman being in pain. Responding immediately the staff rushed to the spot and was on its way to maternity ward Hindu Rao Hospital, when Aarti gave birth to the baby.

According to the police, Aarti was travelling in the Dadar Express with her father and mother-in-law. She was coming from Gwalior and was on her way to Panipat. The woman and her baby are safe.
