BANGALORE: Director Kishore Sarja passed away on Saturday morning. He was 50. He is the son of the late Shakti Prasad and brother of Arjun Sarja.

He worked as an associate for many directors and made his directorial debut with the film ‘Alimayya’.

He directed famous films such as ‘Makkala Sakshi’, ‘Jodi,’ ‘Tutta Mutta,’ ‘Bava Bamaida’ and ‘Vaayuputra.’ His last film ‘Vaayuputra’ was mounted on the sets more than an year ago and is expected to be released soon.

His nephew Chiranjeevi will be making his debut with this film.

He was cremated on Saturday evening.
