Former Youth Janata Dal (S) state president and son of former chief minister R Gundu Rao, Rajesh Gundu Rao passed away in a private hospital on Thursday evening. The 41-year-old leader is survived by his wife, 10-year-old daughter, mother and two brothers one of whom is Congress legislator, Dinesh Gundu Rao.
Rao was admitted to the hospital recently after suffering a severe brain hemorrhage. CM Jagadish Shettar and KPCC president G Parameshwar visited Rao’s house. Rao also acted in the Kannada film 'Hoovu Hannu'.
