The city received heavy rain on Thursday. Bangalore City recorded 6.8 mm of rain, while it was 4.9 mm at the airport.
Traffic movement was affected in K R Puram, Ramamurthy Nagar, Vijayagar, BTM Layout, Austin Town and surrounding areas. Heavy rain is expected in coastal and the Ghat areas of south Karnataka on Friday and Saturday, Metrorological officials said.
