BENGALURU: A bevy of senior Congress leaders on Thursday took part in a rally termed Satyameva Jayate at Freedom Park denouncing the BJP.  G Parameshwara, K J George, Ramalinga Reddy, Krishna Byre Gowda, Dinesh Gundu Rao, V S Ugrappa, Lakshmi Hebbalkar, S T Somashekar and Byrathi Basavaraj took part in the rally.

Targeting BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa, Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy said that if Yeddyurappa had any evidence of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah paying the Congress high command Rs 1,000 crore, then he should produce evidence.

“Both Ananthkumar and Yeddyurappa have admitted that they too paid money to their superiors. When that is the case, Anantkumar should resign immediately.  Yeddyurappa has said he will send us to jail, but that can only happen when he comes to power and this not going to happen,” Reddy said.

Taunting the BJP, K J George said that Yeddyurappa’s dream of coming back to power would remain a dream.
