BENGALURU:  Former minister Srinivasa Prasad along with scores of his supporters formally joined BJP today.

The senior Dalit leader had quit Congress following his removal from Siddaramaiah cabinet.

Prasad, who is expected to contest the by-poll for Nanjangud Assembly Constituency as the BJP candidate, said that he has joined BJP without any conditions.

Replying to a question, he rejected the view that BJP is anti-Dalit and said the party would not have come to power at the centre if it was anti-Dalit.
