BENGALURU: The Department of Public Instruction on Tuesday issued the transfer orders to 251 Block Education Officers(BEOs) across the state.
Last week, the department had released the list where 251 BEOs were transferred. But following a representation by a few MLAs alleging corruption in the transfers, the CM had asked the education department to put the list on hold. Education Minister Tanveer Sait said he had apprised the CM of the matter and all the norms were followed while preparing the list. “None of the officials facing allegations of corruption are in the list,” said Sait.
The transfers were issued as many officers had completed long tenures, said officials.
