Four Tamil Nadu ministers meet Sasikala in prison

Sources said Sasikala is said to have discussed political developments in Tamil Nadu and also the plan to transfer her from Bengaluru jail to a prison in Chennai.

BENGALURU: Four Tamil Nadu Ministers met AIADMK chief Sasikala Natarajan at Parappana Agrahara Jail here on Tuesday. 

Forest Minister C Sreenivasan, Cooperation Minister K Raju, School Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan and Food Minister R Kamaraj reached the jail around 1.45 pm to meet Sasikala, who has been convicted in a disproportionate assets case.

Sources said Sasikala is said to have discussed political developments in Tamil Nadu and also the plan to transfer her from Bengaluru jail to a prison in Chennai.

“Chinnamma instructed the ministers to focus on governance and to continue the good work done by Amma. She also asked to bring back other factions who have left from AIADMK,” said an AIADMK source.
