MYSURU: The BJP has decided to launch an aggressive campaign under the leadership of its state president BS Yeddyurappa for the Mandya Lok Sabha seat.

Former Deputy Chief Minister R Ashok said Yeddyurappa will campaign on Tuesday in Srirangapatna, Pandavapura, KR Pet and KR Nagar. He will tour Malavalli, Maddur and Nagamangala taluks on Friday.
The BJP has posted five state leaders, former ministers and office bearers to each taluk to lead the campaign and reach out to the voters.

Ashok said the Congress in Modi wave has lost its relevance across the country.

"BJP in Karnataka will win a minimum of 18 seats in Lok Sabha elections. People are fed up with Congress-JD(S) coalition government and are waiting for Yeddyurappa to become Chief Minister soon," he said.
