HASSAN: JDS supremo H D Deve Gowda has said that he will be active in state politics after Pitrupaksha, the festival of ancestors. Speaking to reporters in Hassan, he said his kidney has failed and he is undergoing regular dialysis.

He noted that he has wonderful memory power and is capable of revealing political history under any circumstances. He said he will not only travel in his home district but also across the state.

Gowda said that he is aware of the remarks by the Congress and others on the NICE project. Unfortunately, some leaders are alleging that NICE is his gift to the state, but the facts were different, he said.

Referring to the SIT and protests by Congress leaders in Delhi, Gowda said Rahul Gandhi is blaming Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and not the Election Commission of India. “Let us see the verdict of the Supreme Court,” he said.
