Justice J B Koshy has been appointed Acting Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court.

KOCHI: Justice J B Koshy has been appointed Acting Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court. His appointment, announced on Tuesday, follows the elevation of Kerala High Court Chief Justice H L Dattu as judge of the Supreme Court.

Jacob Benjamin Koshy, born on May 13, 1947, enrolled as advocate in 1968. Appointed as permanent Judge of the Kerala High Court on January 17, 1996, Koshy is due to retire on May 13 next year.
