KOCHI: ‘Solomonte Theneechakal' (Honeybees of Solomon), a book written by former Supreme Court Judge Justice K T Thomas, was released in Kochi on Friday.
Chief Justice of India K G Balakrishnan released the book by giving a copy to former Chief Justice of Kerala High Court Justice M M Pareeth Pillai.
"I know Justice Thomas for years. Though we were judges in the Supreme Court, there we could hear only one case together.
Still, I never miss a chance to visit Thomas whenever I visit Kottayam," Justice K G Balakrishnan said.
He said that there might be direct and indirect references in the book as the book was about Justice Thomas' memories and experiences as a judge. Kerala High Court Chief Justice S R Bannurmath who presided over the function said that Justice Thomas was a judge with the concept of victim-oriented judgments.
"The rich experiences of Thomas are narrated in the book beautifully," Justice Bannurmath said.
