PIRAVOM: The State Government has given the nod to expand the School Health Programme to all schools in the Piravom Assembly constituency. Speaker K Radhakrishnan will inaugurate the project at the MKM Higher Secondary School in Piravom on Saturday.

A total of 25,000 students included in the 45 government schools, 27 aided schools and 26 unaided schools will be covered in the project, National Rural Health Mission district officer M Beena said.

All students will be distributed detailed health cards.

A sum of `5 lakh has been sanctioned for the project.
