THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala State Higher Education Council has constituted a committee led by B Hridayakumari to review the existing Choice Based Credit Semester (CBCS) system in the universities.

To reform the university rules, a committee led by K N Chandrasekharan Pillai, Director of the National Judicial Academy, has been constituted. To set up a state version of the NAAC, a committee led by A Gnanam, former Chairman of NAAC, has also been set up. The CBCS review committee will also have Lopez Mathew, John Joseph, C K James, M C Dileepkumar, Sainul Abidkota and Veeramanikantan.

The review committee looking into the university rules will have Veeramanikantan, M Abdul Salam, K K Vijayakumar and Santhosh J K V. The third committee will have R Jayaprakash, Jagannath Patel, Salini Sarma,  K K Yunus Kutty, K Kunhikrishnan and Mathew Manakarakavil.
