Lt General Thomas Mathew retires

Lt General Thomas Mathew, Administrative Member of the Armed Forces Tribunal, Kochi bench, retired from service on Thursday.

Lt General Thomas Mathew, Administrative Member of the Armed Forces Tribunal, Kochi bench, retired from service on Thursday. The lieutenant, who had started his official duties in the Rajput Regiment of the Indian Army in 1968, had participated in the Bangladesh Operations in 1971.  He was Military Attache at France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Holland. He had led the Republic Day Parade in 2004 and 2005.

Lt Thomas Mathew is the recipient of the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal and Param Vishisht Seva Medal. After retiring as Adjutant General from the Army, he joined the Armed Forces Tribunal, Kochi Bench, as an Administrative Member.  In the Court Reference held at the Armed Forces Tribunal, Kochi, Judicial Member Justice Shrikant Tripathi, Johnson Manayani i spoke.
