THRISSUR: A church priest was found dead in a ditch filled with water, near an electricity office at Kundannur here on Monday. He was identified as Father Sijo Cheeran, 35.
His motorcycle, which he was believed to have been driving on Sunday midnight, was also found near his body.
Morning walkers found the priest’s body in the ditch, in the wee hours of morning.
Police officials have stated that his death is being treated as unexplained. The cause of the death can be known only after a detailed post-mortem examination.
