THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Pareeksha Bhavan on Saturday clarified that all technical issues relating to the Compact Discs of the Information Technology practicals of the SSLC examination have been resolved and that the examination will be held as per schedule from February 23 to March 3.
A section of the media had reported that the Pareeksha Bhavan’s decision to despatch extra CDs of the exams to schools would lead to malpractices. Extra CDs of the exams were despatched after some schools complained that the CDs could not be opened due to technical reasons. “Providing copies of CDs to schools will not lead to breach of secrecy of the exam as only the respective schools can open the CDs with a unique school code and password,” Pareeksha Bhavan said in a release. Pareeksha Bhavan also clarified that it has not given any direction to officials to copy the IT practical question paper on pen drive as reported in a section of the media.
District Education Officers have informed Pareeksha Bhavan that all technical issues relating to the CDs have been rectified, the release added.
