14 Coconut Oil Brands Banned

The food safety wing has banned the production, distribution and sale of 14 brands of coconut oil in the state which have failed to meet the required food safety standards.

ARYANAD: The food safety wing has banned the production, distribution and sale of 14 brands of coconut oil in the state which have failed to meet the required food safety standards.

However, it has come to the notice of the Commissionerate of Food Safety that multiple firms are marketing coconut oil under similar names.

The following are the list of banned coconut oil brands: Kera Plus, Green Kerala, Kera A One, Kera Super, Keram Drops, Blaze, Pulari, Coco Sudham, Kallada Priyam, Kera Nanma, Copra Nadu, Coconut Nadu, Kera Sree and Kera Nanma.

The Commissionerate of Food Safety may be alerted on the toll-free number 1800 425 1125 if the sale of the above-mentioned brands is noticed.
