Valakom Case: Victim's Wife Moves Court

Express News Service

KOCHI: The wife of the victim in the Valakom assault case on Monday approached the Ernakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate Court against the CBI decision to close the investigation of the case.

Geetha, wife of Krishnakumar who was allegedly attacked by unknown persons, appeared at the open court. She requested the court to order a CBI probe rather than closing the case. It was following the notice sent by the court for considering the CBI closure report that Geetha appeared representing Krishnakumar. The court asked Geetha to file a detailed affidavit and the case would be taken up for further hearing on April 27.
