Aravind KS

KOZHIKODE:  At a time when the state government has failed to implement its policy to ban the flex boards here, the film fraternity here has decided to stop the use of such plastic sheets for promotion of the works. The new decision, that could bring about a major change in the state as well as in tinsel town, was jointly taken by the Kerala Film Producers’ Association and the Distributors Association.

Flex Hoardings to Go With the implementation of the new decision, the lion’s share of the flex hoardings and boards that occupy spaces in major city centres, roadsides and tops of buildings will vanish.

According to Film Producers Association president and Kerala State Cultural Welfare Board chairman G Suresh Kumar, the new decision will be implemented from the first week of June.
