Delhi Police Should Have Shown Restraint Before Raiding Kerala House: Chandy

KOZHIKODE: Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Tuesday said that the Delhi Police should have shown restraint while conducting raids at the premises of Kerala House checking for beef dishes.

"Kerala House is a state guest house. I am yet to get complete details with regard to the incident. Whatever, Delhi Police should have shown restraint and consulted officials concerned before checking the premises for beef dishes," the Chief Minister said at a meet the press organised by Press Club here.

He added that a few people were unnecessarily creating problems in the name of beef ban. The Kerala Government will take up the matter with the Union Government after collecting full details.
