THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Congress MLA P T Thomas has issued a privilege notice against chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan for misleading the Assembly on the topic of appointment of M K Damodaran as his legal adviser.
The notice is based on the premise that when chief minister had told the Assembly that Damodaran has assumed charge as his legal adviser ,the government informed the High Court later that he has not taken over the post and he is unwilling to accept it. The contradictory stand of the chief minister is tantamount to misleading the Assembly,according to P T Thomas.
