Torture of tribal women an endless shame: V M Sudheeran writes to Kerala CM

Sudheeran asked the chief minister to initiate taken stern action and bring the culprits to book immediately.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The reported incident of  a few persons torturing tribal women in the Vellamunda adivasi settlement colony in Wayanad after terrorizing their husbands at knife point is an endless shame to Kerala,said Kerala PCC president V M Sudheeran,in a letter sent to chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

Sudheeran asked the chief minister to initiate taken stern action and bring the culprits to book immediately. He also demanded disciplinary measures against officials who had erred in taking timely action when the incident came to light.
