Nalini Netto assumes office as Kerala's 42nd chief secretary

THIRUVANATHAPURAM: Nalini Netto assumed office as the 42nd chief secretary of the Kerala, and the fourth woman to occupy the post on Sunday. 

Netto, who took charge on Sunday morning, told media persons that she would work for better coordination among officials. "No one is perfect. I'm ready to help anyone who is in need," she said.

On the Kerala Administrative Service, she said her opinion was the same as that of the government.
