THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In flash raids conducted across the state on Wednesday, the anti-piracy cell arrested 15 persons and seized pirated CDs and DVDs of latest Mollywood movies. The team also unearthed a large stack of pornographic clips.
The sleuths seized computers, hard discs, memory cards and pen drives used for pirating the films. Most of the arrested were from the capital city.
The statewide raids were conducted following a tip-off received by the anti-piracy cell SP B K Prasanth. Police officers from the respective police stations accompanied the anti-piracy teams during the raids.
