THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:  Scores of Youth Congress  (YC) activists laid siege to the Secretariat marking the culmination of the ‘Youth March’ led by state president Dean Kuriakose on the first anniversary of the  Pinarayi Vijayan Government on Thursday.

The YC activists vowed to take up more protests in future against the alleged communal and fascist policies of the Narendra Modi Government at Centre and the anti-people measures and political terror unleashed by the Pinarayi Vijayan Government in the state.

Inaugurating the siege protest, YC national president Amrinder Singh Raja Brar exhorted cadre to get ready for a series of agitations. “There is a striking comparison between the governments at Centre and state. Both promised good days for the people.

After three years, Modi has made life miserable for the common man. Pinarayi has promised to set everything right, but after an year in office, he has failed in all fronts,” he said.
