Consider retest for class X student who got two-year-old question paper: Kerala HC

KOCHI:The Kerala High Court on Monday directed the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to consider conducting a re-examination for a class X student from Kottayam in mathematics before starting the valuation. The student alleged she was given a two-year-old question paper.

The court issued the order on a petition filed by Ameeya Saleem, a student of Mount Carmel Vidyanikethan, seeking a directive to the CBSE to take prompt action on the issue.The court directed the CBSE that pending of the petition shall not be a ground for conducting a retest for the petitioner.The petitioner submitted that though she had filed a complaint before the authorities concerned, no action was taken.
