KOCHI: The decision to reinduct actor Dileep to AMMA is pre-planned with the silent consent of the CPM leadership, alleged Thrikkakkara MLA P T Thomas. He said the top office-bearers of the association are CPM members, including MLAs and an MP.“It’s a well-known fact the top office-bearers of AMMA have a leniency towards the CPM and the decision-makers of the association are party members, MLAs and MP. If they are silent on the issue, there is no doubt the CPM is behind the reinduction of the actor to the association. The CPM’s stand is reflected here,” alleged Thomas.

“Dileep was suspended from the association based on the allegation he was involved in the actor abduction case,” the MLA said. “If he is reinducted to the same association, there must be some circumstance that forced the association into doing so. So far, no such development has happened. The AMMA office-bearers should state openly what development made the association reinduct Dileep.”

He also asked, if senior CPM leader Brinda Karat and CPM Central Committee member M C Josephine could make open statements against the reinduction of the actor, what restricted the MLAs and the MP in the association from doing likewise on the issue. He also said it is time the name ‘AMMA’ is changed.
“AMMA is a name that everyone wants to respect. But that is not the case with the association. So the time has come to change the name,” he said.
