12-year-old daughter of Rohit Pawar’s PA found dead in Baramati

According to police, the girl had left home in anger on Saturday following a minor argument with her mother. When she failed to return, her family approached the police and lodged a missing-person complaint.

The 12-year-old daughter of NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar’s personal assistant was found dead under suspicious circumstances near her home in Maharashtra’s Baramati on Sunday, police said.

The girl, daughter of Pawar’s aide Ajit Dashavatare, was found in the Sainagar area of Rui village in Baramati tehsil, officials said.

According to police, the girl had left home in anger on Saturday following a minor argument with her mother. When she failed to return, her family approached the police and lodged a missing-person complaint.

Her body was found near the family’s residence on Sunday morning, following which police reached the spot and sent it to the Baramati Government Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Police said an investigation was underway and that all possible angles were being examined.

“The police have launched an investigation into the case and are examining all possible angles,” a senior police official said.
