BHUBANESWAR: Actor Dushmant Panda’s short stint in film industry did not create as much splash as have the last two days, thanks to his one time junior in college and friend Priti Mohanty’s claims that they were married not very long ago.
Priti, who had knocked State Commission for Women’s doors on Wednesday, sat on a dharna in front of Mahila Police Station here on Thursday. Since she had little in terms of proof to validate that she had married Dushmant, the dharna did not cut ice with the police either.
Dushmant, who is stated to have married (registered marriage) to another starlet, had to come out in public to announce that he and Priti did not even have an affair, let alone any marriage. All Priti could produce in support of her claims were a couple of photographs in a temple.
