BARGARH: Visitors moved between Gopapur (Ambapali) and Mathura (Bargarh town) to witness different enactments staged as part of ‘Balya Leela’ of Lord Krishna on the fourth day of the 11-day Dhanu Yatra on            Monday.

At Gopapur, little Lord Krishna was busy with his ‘Balya Leela’ which reflected the naughty child breaking earthen pots for butter and playing pranks with the villagers. The visitors had a glimpse of ‘Kalia Dalan’, ‘Krishna Leela’ at Fakira Bandh (water body) in Ambapali as Lord Krishna dances atop the hooded serpent displaying his powers.

Scenes of Lord Krishna - accompanied by his cohorts - playing around with ‘gopis’ were also enacted.

Back at Mathura, Kansa is downcast after receiving the news of death of his demon warriors Putana, Sakata, Truna, Baka and Sandha in the hands of toddler Krishna. The demon warriors had been sent by Kansa to kill the young child to ensure that he averts his death.

Angered at the power of the child, he conspires with his ministers and tries to work out a new plan to eliminate the child.  He also toured his kingdom and punished innocents to vent his frustrations. Earlier, Kansa visited Mukteswar temple and performed Rudrabhishek to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva of whom he is a devotee.
