CUTTACK: The Crime Branch (CB) on Saturday released photographs of the four accused in the gang-rape case.
The accused have been named as Prashant Pradhan of Paparanga village, Sukanta Pradhan alias Abua of the same village, Purna Chandra Swain alias Guna of Arjungada village and Premananda Nayak of the same village in Puri district. The four are absconding. The main accused __
Premananda and Purna Chandra __ were allegedly involved in the molestation case of 2008 following which the victim had reportedly committed suicide.
The 19-year-old girl, who is battling for life now, is a key witness to the case. Special teams of CB, which has taken over the investigation, have mounted a massive manhunt for the four accused.
