Workshop on IPR

The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Development Institute, under Ministry of MSME, organised a two-day interactive workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) on Monday.

With the rise of MSME sector, the importance of IPR has also grown. The MSME sector needs to protect its intellectual power and the purpose of the workshop was to create an awareness about IPR for MSME. The workshop was inaugurated by MSME Development Institute director Alok Ray. He said following liberalisation of the economy, the MSMEs now have ample opportunity to thrive. Around 70 SME entrepreneurs participated.
