SBI plea to builders on home loan

The State Bank of India has appealed to the builders to extend its home loan facilities to their customers.

Addressing a builders meet at Gopalpur on Thursday, Sanjay Kumar Magoo, General Manager (NW-II), SBI, Bhubaneswar said apart from various other loans, the SBI has been providing the home loans on easy terms.

The meet was organised by SBI, retail assets central processing centre of zonal office in the city. Among others, Kaushik Sinha, DGM, Paresh Chandra Barik, AGM and Pradeep Kumar Panda, RM also spoke. Over 15 prominent builders of the city, who attended the meet, were explained in details of the schemes for housing loans by the SBI officials.

Lecture on Canadian Thought

The Centre for Canadian Studies, Berhampur University, organised a lecture on “Canadian thinking and imagination and its affinities with Indian experience” on Friday. Dr KC Bal, Chief Personnel Officer of Western Railway, Jabalpur gave a talk on the subject.
