Tension gripped Subash Chowk area of Rajgangpur town after one Subash Ghosh (45) was hit by a locomotive engine of OCL (India) Ltd on the private track of OCL on Sunday night.

Tension gripped Subash Chowk area of Rajgangpur town after one Subash Ghosh (45) was hit by a locomotive engine of OCL (India) Ltd on the private track of OCL on Sunday night.

Following the incident,  local BJP leaders staged a protest which was called off after announcement of compensation of `2.30 lakh to the bereaved family and job to the eligible member of the  family.

Ghosh was killed while crossing the OCL level-crossing near Subash Chowk. Rajgangpur SDPO SK Panigrahi said a case has been registered.
