Counselling ends in KIIT

The counselling session for admission into various academic courses of KIIT University was wrapped on June 5. This year, the University received more than 1,60,000 applications, including applications of candidates from 20 countries. Out of them 1,50,000 students appeared in the entrance examination. At least 42,000 took the test for medical stream. While Abhisekh Kedia topped the B-tech entrance, Jatin Kumar Dhingra topped MBBS/BDS/BSc Nursing. Apart from conducting examinations in 120 centres across 54 cities, the University conducted online examination for the first time.

The examinations which were conducted between April 23 and May 2, had no application or examination fee like previous years. KIIT University which offers medical, engineering, law and other courses, has students from all over the country and foreign nations.
