BHUBANESWAR: The Commissionerate Police arrested a notorious pimp Sunil Meher, who was running a prostitution racket in a hotel at Bapuji Nagar here, on Thursday.
Police rescued 10 young women and arrested four youths and the hotel receptionist along with Meher.
Sources said the racket was operating from the hotel for the last six months and the women involved in the flesh trade were trafficked from neighbouring States.
The rescued women have been sent to a short stay home in the Capital and the arrested were produced in a local court on Friday.
