SAMBALPUR: Sambalpur unit of BJP Yuva Morcha on Wednesday lodged a complaint with Sambalpur Town Police against the remix version of Sambalpuri folk song ‘Rangabati...’. They also burnt pictures of MTV Coke Studio where the song was recorded by Sona Mohapatra and team.
In his complaint, vice president of the Morcha Aswini Kumar Majhi demanded stern action against those who have twisted the song and insulted the lyricist, music director and singer of the original song. Accusing that the song has been made derogatory deviating from its lyrics, the complaint has also spoken about infringement of copyrights.
