CUDDALORE: Fake godman Premananda, convicted for sexually abusing and murdering his ashram inmates, is likely to undergo a surgery at a private hospital here where he has been admitted for the past three days.

Premananda had petitioned the High Court seeking three months' parole for treatment as he was having blood pressure, heart, kidney and liver problems. Doctors are pondering his treatment given his various ailments. However, the court granted him only a 30day parole. He will also visit a private hospital in Puducherry for a cataract surgery.
