PUDUCHERRY: The bust of Srinivasa Ramanujan, a world renowned mathematician, was unveiled in front of the Department of Mathematics, Pondicherry University Complex, on Friday by J A K Tareen, Vice-Chancellor of the university. A M S Ramasamy, Dean, Ramanujan School of Mathematical Sciences, welcomed the gathering.
M Ramadass, director of studies, Eductional Innovations & Rural Reconstruction, offered felicitation. S Loganathan, registrar, S Raghavan, finance officer, Pondicherry University, founder professor and head of the department of mathematics P Jothilingam and Dr H P Patil, professor, department of mathematics, were present.
