CHENNAI: Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Monday announced that the Civil Service Training Institute at Bhavanisagar will be upgraded with all infrastructural facilities at a cost of `35 crore.

The CM pointed out that at present, many of the infrastructure facilities in the institute were in a dilapidated condition and hence imparting training to government employees was difficult.

Ministerial employees like junior assistants and assistants and other categories of government administration are being given foundational training amd deputy ta-hsildars are being given in-service training here. The institute helps the government employees to get familiar with the office procedure and increases their efficiency.
